Hi
i am planning to buy a telescope for my 12 year old daughter with a budget under $200. this will be my first telescope as well. i have reviewed Celestron 127EQ and Orion Starblast 4.5EQ and feels either would be fine for planetary viewing. I am a little worried about the collimation problems but they are not delivering table top types to this region (Qatar). another big worry for me is the city lights and its impact on viewing. I hope someone can suggest a suitable telescope under these circumstances. Many thanks in advance!
